John and I were both home sick last Friday so no paperwork got turned in. John should have taken it in today by now during his lunch break.
Also, still no word of John's doctor - his endocronoligist. Every time he calls, no one picks up the phone or a message picks up stating they're out of the office. I think John is going to try calling when it's not lunch time. Maybe that will work.
Another setback, my employment verification form - which has to be signed and notarized by the temp agency I'm employed with - was sent to their corporate team to take care of. Well I just received an email from a rep stating that corporate couldn't do it with a notary, but the reps were still wanting to help me out. Looks like I may need to be sending a notary their way to have it signed. I believe they're located in a Frost Bank building, so I'm praying that maybe they'll volunteer to just go downstairs and have someone at the bank sign it. It's free with the bank.

Still no sign of my birth certificate or marriage license. In our neighborhood, we have cluster mailboxes. So I have to walk down the street to get our mail. Anything that's not sent by USPS is usually left on our doorstep. You can tell why I'm a little nervous. A month or so back, John ordered a book online and it was said to have been delivered and left at the door. Well, someone probably liked the look of the box and took it b/c we never got it. So again, I'm a little concerned and am praying that TexasOnline send our stuff via USPS - either that or they'll require a signature.
