I can tell you this - Gladney makes thing happen!

We already have our homestudy scheduled for April 13th. Less than a month away! They emailed us yesterday wanting to set up a time and that was their first opening. And we're not delaying. I guess I was picturing the homestudy to be at least a few months out, but I was wrong.

I'll talk more about the homestudy later, but I'm feeling a little anxious and feeling a little in the dark about how or if we can prepare for it. I'm 100% confident that we're going to get a good report but it's always the fear of the unknown that I hate. I guess in a way it's like a test in school - the teacher can't really give you the exact questions beforehand so you'll know exactly what to "study". We'll be interviewed together and seperately...fun, fun!

Oh, and my books came in yesterday! I've already read more than halfway through "Adoption is a Family Affair". It's a 100-page book though and easy reading but very, very informational and I am probably going to buy a copy for both set of parents. It explains alot of what we're going through and what we've considered and it will help in the future too once we bring our son home.
