I was emailing my mom this morning about our paperwork progress and she said "blog it".
So....
As mentioned before, I feel like I've been waiting forever for my birth certificate and marriage license to come in. So much so that every day I get home, go straight to the mailbox (which I ususally do maybe once or twice a week), look for my package and if it wasn't there I'd go to the front porch to see if it was left there. And of course, I'd find nothing.
Last night I was out with friends until late, came home and was not interested in becoming disappointed in the fact that my package would not be there. As luck would have it though - I stepped out the house this morning on my way to work, and guess what was on the front porch? Yeah.
So now I'm trying not to kick myself, b/c had I gone to look last night, there would have been so much I could have gotten done!! The two main things are sending off our application to immigration and also our contract to KBS Dossiers. Two very important steps that have been waiting on this one birth certificate. I should have asked my mom to make copies of the one they had, but I thought that my copies would come quicker than that.
Anyhoo...looks like we've plenty to do this weekend. Also, my employer called and they're putting a notarized employment verification form in the mail today! The guy said he was taking care of his own personal banking today and would take the form with him on his lunch break. How awesome and so sweet is that!
